I think the best northern team in the state this year will be Lakewood St. Eds. They have a ton of players returning that have revenge on their minds after a tough ending to the year last year. They also have 5 viable D1 players on defense and that does not hurt either.
Let's not forget St. Iggy! They have a nose for being at State. And Glenville has the best talent over the last 4 or 5 years, or at least the most kids going D-1. But never forget about Toledo St. Johns because the Titans always develop a nice squad (must be coaching). I can't wait to see.
Niles will be alright, but not on the level of a Lakewood St. Eds, St. Ignatius, St. Johns, or schools like that. But they are rebuilding the name. Medina should be alright. The Akron teams are usually decent as well. But I'm taking Lakewood as the best team up north.
